I think this transcription of the State of Maine marriage records is an error in that Ella "Cormier" should be Ella Currier. See 1900 US census, where 9 year old Violet Currier is listed as grandaughter to the 23 year old head of houshold. If Ella Miller Currier remarried in 1895, her first husband was still alive until 1910. It also seems that Edward Friend remarried before Ella's death.I can find no marriage records for Ella Miller or Ella Currier.
