This picture was taken in 1948. I assume it was taken on his farm in Tracey Mills, NB. The farm was located on the hill (mountainside) directly across from the bridge which spans the Presque Isle River.Grandad was known to have a number of apple trees on his farm that were very productive. He probably used these horses on his woodlot. I know my father worked in the woods since he was a teenager. Grandfather owned either 100 or 150 acres which is currently owned by the Wolverton family.
