I am searchg for more information on the Grants From Ohio,early 1800s era.
I have Info back to Charles R. Grant b. 10-23-1846 born in Orange, New Haven,Conn. d. 6-27-1929. His parents were William Travers Grant and Esther Treat. I know he had 4 other brothers and sisters, but I only know of 2 which are a Eliabeth A. b.5-16-1840 d.5-11-1898. She married a Thomas E. Rowe on 6-25-1863. They had 5 children.
The other is a Henry. Do not nave any info on him yet.And a Frederick M. DOB unknown.
Charles R. Grant moved to Akron, Ohio where there he became a Judge in the late 1800's. He had 3 marriages there .1. 10-9-1873 to Frances J. Wahams Til her death on 9-14-1874.
2. 9-9-1876 to Lucy J. Alexander b. 1857 til d. 6-8-1880.Lucy's parents were David Scott Alexander b. 1829 d.1890 and Sarah Hale b.1833 d. 1885.
Charles and Lucy had 1 child, Virginia V. b.9-24-1877.
3. 8-19-1891 to Ida Shick.
I do have a lot more info and will try to do this every day.
