Phebe Hamell around 1790? and were residents of Washington Co., PA until 1819 when they purchased a land patent in Harrison Co., OH. (washington twnsp)There they raised their 9 children (most born in PA): Mark, Andrew, Matthew, James, William, Robert, Jane, Polly, and Pheobe. Their son Robert H. m. Catherine DeWitt of NJ on Dec 29, 1842 in Harrison Co., OH.Their children: Hiram, John, Hattie, and unknown were also raised in Harrison Co. Their son Hiram joined the Ohio 60th Volunteers for the Union Army and was wounded in the Battle of the Weldon Railroad in at Globe Tavern in VA.He went back to Ohio where he lived for a time in Tuscarawas and Knox Co. Ohio then to Illinois where he married Sarah Addaline Davis of Switzerland Co., IN.They lived in MO for a time then on to Labette Co., KS where they raised their children: Hurley, Hubert, Lula, Lulu, Mollie, Nellie, Hattie, and Marshall. Their son Hurley Rudalph Hogue m. Delvora (Della) Holmes d. of Charles and Susie Barnett Holmes of Labette Co. KS.Hurley and Dellas children were: Lila (Peggy), Wanda (Billie), and Mayo Hurley Maurice Hogue.Hurley Rudalph remarried late in life to Ruth Winifred Howe and had a daughter named Colletta Grace Hogue on 6/30/53 in Redding, CA.
