Notes for Martha (Patsy) Bradford: Thomas Lynch's biography states he went to live with his uncle when he was 14 years old and after his father, Jesse Lynch, died. Martha and Thomas are found living with William Bradford, age 61 in the 1850 Daviess County census and Thomas later purchased the land from his uncle (William). William was Martha's brother, Thomas' uncle, and John's brother. William purchased land on the same day John purchased his land. Conclusion, the property owner, William Bradford, was born in 1789, was not married and was the son of Thomas Bradford, Sr. William Bradford b. 1893, m. Fanny Osmon, wasn't the son of Thomas Sr or the brother of John. He came from North Carolina and could have been the son of William, David or George. His sons were Archibald, George and John. The George Bradford b. 1853 in Orange County, NC m. Mary Hamilton had sons named Archibald, John, and George, among several others.
