Our Landers-Millard Connection

Updated December 26, 2005

The four main lines we are researching are Leroy's Dedrick and Millard side and Verna's Bashor and Landers side.

In our Millard line we have identified the following grandparents: Ballou, Barnes, Bruehrer, Cole, Comstock, Garret, Hoogteeling, Inman, Kuhphahl, Mowry, Muller, Ostrander, Paine, Phinney, Pier, Pike, Proper, Sawtell, Sayles, Smith, Taylor, Van-Noorstrand, Warren and Whitman.

In our Dedrick Line, our grandparents are: Evans, George, Hendrix, Lusk, McShane, Mercer, Mitchell, Reany, Reynolds, Steere and Young.

The grandparents in our Landers line are: Bean, Carter, Constable, Dale, DeVaughan, Dymoke, Ellis, FitzWilliam, Faines, Goodnight, Hall, Henslee, Kempe, Kinard, Lee, Leith, Shipman, Skipwith, Spencer, Tannehill and Thornton.

And, in the Bashor line, we have the following grandparents: Adam, Alderfer, Brown, Buckalew, Cloter, Delp, Franstsin, Frantz, Ganzert, Greschen, Grubb, Hall, Halterman, Keller, Kreig, Letsinger, Meyer, Michel, Moyer, Pettit, Reubling, Rogers, Sager, Stump, Sullivan and Tallent.

We are especially interested in those researching the Delawder line who believe that Margaret Delawder married Joseph Bashor. Joseph's son, Samuel Peter, told his children his mother's name was Margaret Grubb. Two of those children are still living and confirm this. We would welcome any documentation regarding this marriage. We have posted a picture of "our" Margaret Bashor.

In addition to the genealogy reports for our four main lines, we have included text reports below for many of the above lines.

We welcome additions and/or corrections and look forward to hearing from anyone researching any of the above names.
