He was an Armorer in the service of "The Count Of Hohenlohe" at Ernstbach in the Odenwald, East of the Rhine River where the Nechar River meets, near Heidelberg, Germany in 1703.

Wilheim was living in Germany as early as 1703 where he attended the wedding of his son, Christian, through conjecture it was assumed they were French Huguenots.
