      2. James William Jenkins, born February 19, 1888 in Blountsville county ALABAMA; died June 16, 1948 in Wicks Ark, Polk county Ark. He was the son of 4. Ruben Thelopous Jenkins and 5. Sarah Hanna Kelsoe. He married 3. Rosa Dela Cagle January 17, 1939 in Paris, Texas.

      3. Rosa Dela Cagle, born December 02, 1908 in Medeal Texas; died November 15, 1971 in Dallas, Texas. She was the daughter of 6. Oscar Marvin Cagle and 7. Jaramery Katherine Welch.

James William Jenkins came to Texas from Alabama with his family
as a small child. They settled for a while near Whitehouse, Smith County
Texas, where James William went to school and later married Laura Jane
Terry. Following the marriage, they lived in several locations including Swan Smith
County Texas, Cleburne, Texas and Ponder, Texas. About 1915 the family moved
to west of Wicks,Polk County Arkansas. where they settled not for from his mother
father. After Laura Terry passed away he went back to Texas around Paris and
Roxten, Texas. There is where Nellie, his oldest daughter introduced him to
Rosa Dela Cagle. They were married in 1939. They had two children, Norman Ray and
Nettie Ruth Jenkins. James William died of lung cancer in 1948. He was a lay
minister of Lone Star Nazarene Church.James William Jenkins came to Texas from Alabama with his family
