The Brenda Beckman - Mixon/Cox and Families

This site is dedicated to all of the work my mom Carol Benskin Beckman, her mom Dorothy May White Benskin and her mom Maggie Jane Clark White Enochs have done over the many years of trying to find all of our ancestors of past and present and for the work my mom and her mom continue to do. Although there have been many more connections of family members that have given information and to that I am also very grateful for the information and getting to meet and talk to another family member no matter how distant it may be.

The Beckman-Mixon/Cox families are where I come in and the union of my husband Donald Mixon.
Most of our research has been in the Tennessee,Kentucky, Virginia,Minnesota,Kansas areas but does spread to the west in California. My Beckman family has migrated from the Minnesota area through Kansas and most ended up in CA but a few took the northern route to Colorado and Washington. The Benskin family migrated here from England with most planting roots around the Kansas-Missouri areas. The Sawyer families migrated from the Maine area to NH,IN, NE and CA. The White families were mainly in the TN and IL areas but some migrated to KS, CA and OK.
