Ancestors of Johnny Melvyn Mize, b. 1936.

I am trying to find the European ancestors of the Mize family. James Mize lived in Surry Co. VA about 1700. In documents dated 1720, and 1721, James and his wife Elizabeth made their marks, and the court recorder spelled their names as Mice, then Myis.
