My parents(Jan c. Moeller) immigrated to America from Hamburg ,Germany in 1927.They came by themselves without family here . Because of divorce, .WWII, . the early death of my father at age 49, . poor communication patterns,I know little of my European ancestory. I have some names:

Scheffler,Frederich and Anna Schulmeistrat who migrated from Tilsit,Germany to Hamburg circa 1890. They had seven children one of whom moved to the America in about 1920 in the Washington D.C. area.(Grandfather's sister ,grandfather Albert Scheffler was killed in WWI.{1885-1918})
