| The Moerk family settled in and around Philadelphia and New Jersey in the mid 1800's. Ancestors include Koenig, Himmelsbach, Himelspark, Carolan, Koenig, Mueller, & Stilmunkus.Koenigs came from Dobel, Germany which is in the Black Forest region of Baden/Wurttemburg. I believe Mueller & Stilmunkus also came from SW Germany.Himmelsbach (aka Himelspark) came from Alsace Lorraine region of France.Carolan came from Ireland.Am currently working on getting more detailed information compiled.Will appreciate any inquiries and will share any information that I have. |
