Family history newly in process of being compiled! Any relevant information that you may have to add to our search would be very much appreciated - please feel free to email us. Thank you! We are researching the history of George Moen (born approximately 1882 in Manketo, MN) and the history of his wife, Alice Mary Longpre (born 10/31/1894) - they were married approximately 1917 and lived in or near Missoula, MT. We are also researching the history of Margaret Gloria Thomas (born 10/30/1925 in Hawkinsville, GA), who married George Moen's son, Elmer Absolm (Bud) Moen, in Atlanta, GA on 12/19/1943. We have little information on the history of her father, Alexander Mac Thomas - other than that he was born on 10/07 (year ?) and that he was a travelling salesman. His whereabouts are unknown after 1947. We are interested in whether he ever remarried, had additional family and how/when/where he died. His father was William Walter Thomas and his mother was Lucretia Slappy - both of or near Hawkinsville, GA. He was married to Ruby Dreggors until 1931 and they lived in Hawkinsville, GA. Ruby grew up in Ocala, FL. She married William Bittner between 1931-1933 and moved to Hammond, IN, where she died in 1933. We are looking for information on Ruby Dreggors too! We are also researching the history of Lyle St. Clair Myers - he was born approximatly 1902-1903, possibly in Canada. We know he married Anna Mary (Molly) Downey (born 11/13/1902 in Ontario, Canada - died 1984 in Seattle, WA) and they had 1 son, Lyle Patrick Myers (born in Detroit, MI on 02/21/1933 and died in Edmonds, WA on 12/01/2001). Lyle St. Clair Myers died in 1949 in Detroit, MI. |
