We are researching several different familiy lines:

Dailey, William b. 1748 & Mary Palmer; Richard Bowlby d. c. 1553

Flack, Robert c 1750 - c. 1830 & Hulda Leonard d. c. 1820

Didrickson/Derickson, Andreas c. 1620 - 1716 & Mary

Weiss, Johann (John) c. 1821 & Catherine

Mohler, Samuel R. 1792 - 1877 & Mary

Williams, Gabriel b. 1756 & Margaret Lytton d. c. 1840

Main, Main b. 1796 & Mahala Johnston d. 1865

Seymour, David 1824 - 1882 & Susan Hardy 1834 - 1909

Leuteritz, Johan (John) Eduoard 1842 - 1904 & Ida Louise Wilhelm 1848 - 1924

Most of our relatives settled very early in Indiana and Ohio and remained there for generations. A few were in Illinois, Oregon, North Carolina, Virginia and Maryland at some point.
This program only allows five reports and one "book" to be shown at a time so if you would like to see one of the other families, please e-mail me a message and I will put it online. (To see a report, go to the very bottom of this page until you see the reports listed in blue letters. Double click on the family you are interested in. Then when reading the reports, click on "next" at the bottom of each page to continue.)

If you are in one of these lines, please take the time to submit some stories about your memories and/or an autobiography of you and your family. I think it's very important for our future families to get some sense of their roots and not just our names and dates. The Williams, Flack, Leuteritz and Weiss books are now available at the Allen County Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
I will be happy to add a link to your site if you are related.
I have only done the tip of the iceberg and have not gone to the counties where all of the individuals lived to get information, nor have I knocked on relatives doors with a pen and tape recorder in hand. Perhaps when Mike retires, we will have more time for that but meanwhile, we will lose some of our family members. If you would like to submit any information, I would love to have your stories and would also like to include a baby picture, young child, high school age, picture with family and recent photo for each picture. I can scan these into the system and will return all photos that you will share with me. I'm thinking we won't have much else to leave when we die other than strong family roots. What do you think? Please print this and pass it on to other family members or forward it on your computer.

I'm eager to hear from you, Jean Daily Mohler
