The death of an old and esteemed citizen, Henry Money, occurred at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Crowley, Echo Place, last evening. Mr. Money was born in Berkshire, England, 78 years ago, and on coming to Canada in 1910 settled in Brantford where he was well known to a large circle of friends. For many years he was in the employ of the Canada Starch Company, and recently had been in the employ of the Verity Plow company where he was regarded as an excellent workman despite his years. For the past five months the deceased had been confined to his bed with a serious illness.

Besides his sorrowing widow, Mary Ann Kembrey, the deceased leaves to mourn his loss five sons, five daughters, 54 grandchildren.

His sons John, Tom, Albert, of Brantford, Montague of Onandaga; his daughters Mrs. George Davidson, Mrs. E. J. Smith, Mrs. A. Chandler, Mrs. H. Crowley of Brantford, Mrs. Fred Goyit of Onandaga.

Funeral will be held from the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Crowley Echo Place, Thurs. aft. with interment at Mount Hope cemetery.

Mary Ann Money at BGH. in her 80th year, member of Elm Ave. Church.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Mary Ann Money was conducted Sat. from the late residence at Echo Place to Elm Ave Church with interment in Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. G.F.N. Atkinson officiated. During the service a beautiful duet "Light of Home" wass rendered by Mrs. William Money and Miss Mildred Money. The pallbearers were: George Money, Edward Money, M. Smith, G. Goyit, J. Chandler, and H. Money. Many beautiful floral tributes and a large attendance of friends and relatives indicated the esteem in which the deceased was held.

The death occurred at the BGH yesterday of Mary Ann Kembrey, widow of the late Henry Money, in her 80th year. Deceased was born in Berkshire England and came to Canada 22 years ago. She has been a resident of Brantford since that time. She leaves to mourn her loss five sons, John and Thomas of Brantford, Albert Echo Place, Edward Flint Mich., Monte Onondaga Rd. and five daughters Mrs. Davison of Brantford, Mrs. F. Goyit Caledonia, Mrs. R. Smith Brantford, Mrs. C. H. Croley and Mrs. A J. Chandler Echo Place. The funeral will be held Sat. from the residence of Mrs. H. Croley Echo Place to Elm Ave Church. Interment in Mount Hope cemetery.

Mrs. George Davison died Friday at the Brantford General Hospital. The former Ada A. Money, she was born in Oxford, England and had been a resident of Brantford Township for 65 years. She was an adherent of the Anglican Church and a life member of the Alford and Park Road Women's Institute. Surviving are three sons, George of Vancouver, James of Brantford and Gordon of R6 Brantford, Mrs. Alberta Syrett of Mount Clemens, Michigan, Miss Emily of Toronto, Mrs. C. (Gus) Phillips of Weston and Miss Florence of R6 Brantford, one brother Montague Money of Cainsville; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Spencer and Mrs. Harold Croley, both of Brantford and Mrs. William Bell of Ripley.
Mrs. Davison was predeceased by her husband in 1934 and by a daughter and grandson.

George Davison, an old-time baseball player of this city and at one time with the Albany Senators in the old New York State League passed away at his residence in Brantford Township Sunday in his 68th year. He was well known here for many years for his athletic ability. He was a member of Doric Lodge AF & AM 121, and Masons will take part in the funeral services. Mr. Davison had resided in Brantford and Brantford Township practically all his life. Left to mourn his loss besides his widow are three sons, George, Toronto; James, Brantford; and Gordon at home, and five daughters, Mrs. Leslie Sage, brantford Township; Mrs. Fred Syrett, Detroit; Mrs. Clarence Phillips, Toronto; Miss Emily Davison, Toronto; and Miss Florence, at home. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow from the residence to Mount Hope Cemetery.

John (Jack) Money, formerly of 39 Aberdeen Ave, died Tues. night at the home of his daughter Mrs. John Nicholson, 80 Baldwin Ave. in his 72nd year. Born in England he came to this city 37 years ago and was employed at the Cockshutt Plow firm all that time. He was a member of the 21 year club of that plant and also belonged to the Christian and Missionary Gospel Alliance Tabernacle. Besides his widow, Edith Sheppard, he leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Thomas and William, three daughters, Mrs. W. Sevier, Mrs. John Nicholson and Mrs. James Nicholson; four brothers, Edward of Flint, Michigan, Thomas K., Albert of Brantford and Montague of Onondaga; five sisters, Mrs. George Davison of Lynden Rd., Mrs. F. Goyett of Caledonia, Mrs. E. J. Smith and Mrs. H. Croley of Brantford and Mrs. W. Bell of Ripley, 13 grandchildren.

Mrs. Edith Money, 88 of 80 Baldwin Ave. died Thursday in the Brantford General Hospital. Born in Wiltshire, England She was a resident of Brantford for the past 51 years. Mrs. Money is an adherent of the Central Baptist Church. Surviving are two sons, Tom and William, and three daughters, Mrs. William (Maude) Sevier, Mrs. James (Nellie) Nicholson and Mrs. John (Mildred) Nicholson. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1947 and a daughter Florence in 1940.

Tom Money is Called By Death

Thomas K. Money, one of Brantford's best known citizens died Wed. in the Brantford General Hospital. He was a veteran of the South African War.
Born in England, he was in his 73rd year and had resided in this cith for 45 years [since 1906]. Prior to his retirement 14 years ago, he was employed for many years by the Massey-Harris Company.
He was a member of St. Judes Anglican Church, the Ex-Imperials Club, and the Sons of England Benevolent Society. He was a past president of Salisbury Lodge, S.O.E.
In his youth, Mr. Money was actively involved in sports and was an active participant in football and carpetball.
Surviving are: three sons Herbert Money, Hilliardton, Ont., Albert Money, Tutela Heights, Horace Money, Brantford; four daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Lily) Flaherty, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Savory, Mrs. Frank (Rhea) LaSalle, Mrs. Benton (Eva) Wilson, all of Brantford; five sisters Mrs. Ada Davison, Brantford Township, Mrs. Fred Spencer, and Mrs. Harold Croley both of Brantford, Mrs. William Bell, Ripley, Ont, Mrs. Fred Goyit, Caledonia, three brothers Albert Money, Cainsville, Edward Money, Detroit, and Mont Money, Onondaga; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Anniversary - 90th Birthday.

Mrs. Lily Money was born in Canterbury, Kent, England July 10, 1881 the only daughter of a family of 14. She came to Brantford and settled here in 1906 and has lived at her present home 233 Darling St. for 54 years.

She has six children; Mrs. Lily Flaherty, Horace Money, Mrs. Frank (Rhea) LaSalle, Mrs. Frank (Dorothy) Savory and Mrs. Benton (Eva) Wilson all of Brantford and Albert Money of Paris. Also 22 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Her husband Thomas Kembrey Money died 20 years ago.

She was employed by the Brant County Health unit for 20 years, retiring at the age of 84. She still looks after her own home, tends her flower garden and is an active member of the Brantford Senior Citizens Day Centre Inc.

Born and educated in England, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Money. She was married at Brantford 58 years age to Frederick Goyit, who predeceased her six years age. Mrs. Goyit was of the Anglican faith.

Surviving are a son, John, Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Grace O'Hara, Hamilton, and Mrs. William Colwell (Annie), RR 2 Simcoe; a brother Mont Money RR 7 Brantford; four sisters Mrs. Harold Croley (Bell) and Mrs. Ted Spencer (Ethel) Brantford, Mrs. George Davison (Ada) RR 6 Brantford and Mrs. Florence Bell; 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Frederick John GOYIT - A native of Canfield, Frederick John Goyit of Caledonia died Sunday at the home of his daughter Mrs. William Colwell, Walsh, following one week's illness in his 81st year.

Educated in Canfield he farmed most of his life in Brant County, retiring to Caledonia 20 years ago. He was a member of the I. O.O.F. Brantford.

Surviving are his widow, the former Alberta Money, whom he married in Brantford 52 years ago; one son, John Goyit, Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. Grace O'Hara, Mount Hamilton, and Mrs. Colwell (Annie); and two sisters Mrs. Ernest Mealing, Toronto, and Mrs. Emma Willetts, Harrisburg.

Service will be held from the Marvyn M. Veale Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wed. with interment in Oakwood cemetery, Simcoe, Ontario section L-54-3-6.

One son Edward Henry (Eddie) Goyit went to be with the Lord, July 12, 1948, age 41 years 2 months 1 day at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe Ont.

She was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, St. Luke's Women's Guild, and the Kith and Kin Assoc. of Eagle Place. Surviving are one son Monty Smith of Brantford, four daughters, Mrs. Leo (Isabel) McPhee, Mrs. James (Ivy) Patterson, Mrs. Alfred (Gwen) Gilbert, Mrs. Julius (Audrey) Trakalo all of Brantford; one brother, Mont Money of Brantford, two sisters Mrs. Flora Bell of Ripley, Mrs. Harold (Isobel) Crowley of Brantford, 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren. Mrs. Spencer was predeceased by her first husband, Jesse Smith in 1947 and by her second husband, Frederick Spencer in 1963.

E. Jesse Smith husband of Ethel Elizabeth Money, 186 Marlboro St. passed away this morning at the Brantford General Hospital in his 70th year. Mr. Smith was born in England and had resided in Brantford for the past 37 years. He had been employed with the Cockshutt Plow Company for the past six years and previously had been proprietor of a shoe repair business on Emilie St. for many years. Mr. Smith was a veteran of the South African War and was the first Sargeant-Major of the 32nd Battery when it formed here in 1912. During the First World War, he served overseas as a sargeant with the 13th battery and on his return was a Sargeant-Major with the 54th Battery. He was a member of St. Luke's Anglican Church, the local branch of the Canadian Legion and the Cockshutt Ex Servicemen's Assoc. Surviving besides his widow are one son, Monty Smith, Brantford, four daughters, Mrs. Leo McPhee (Isobel), Mrs. James Patterson (Ivy), Mrs. Alfred Gilbert (Gwen) and Mrs. Julius Trakalo (Audrey) all of Brantford, three brothers living in England, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Money - Edward Money, 809 E. Holbrook Ave. age 66 died Tuesday, October 11, 1955 at Hurley Hospital. Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, October 14, 1955 from Groves and Co. Memorial Chapel, Garland at Third Ave. Rev. C. C. Watkins officiating. Buried in Clio Woodlawn cemetery. Mr. Money will lie in state at Grove and Co. Memorial chapel. Death was due to complications after an illness of 2 years. He was born in Abingdon, England, March 27, 1889 son of Henry and Mary Money, lived in Flint for the last 28 years, coming here from Brantford, Canada. He was a member of the Epicopal Church. Mr. Money was a former business agent and member of the Carpenters Local Union 2123, retiring July 1953 due to ill health. Surviving are wife Mary, son Roy Money of Flint; 2 stepsons Lorne Wisson and Jack Wisson both of Canada; daughter Mrs. George Horner of Buffalo, N.Y.; 6 grandchildren, 5 sisters Mrs. Ada Davison, Mrs. Flo Bell, Mrs. Ethel Spancer, Mrs. Bertha Goyit, Mrs. Bell Croley, all of Canada; brother Monty Money of Canada, several nieces and nephews.

On Friday, Nov. 20, 1970, after an extended illness, Mary Jane Money, age 83, of Lapeer, Michigan, wife of the late Edward Money, who predeceased her in 1955; survived by three sons, Roy Money, Lapeer, Michigan; Loren Wisson, Toronto and Jack Wisson, Simcoe, Ontario; several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive. Funeral was held Monday, Nov. 23, 1970 from the Baird-Newton Funeral Home, Lapeer, Michigan. Interment was in Michigan, Woodland cemetery, Clio.

Montague Money, 74, of 34 Glanville Avenue, died Friday at the Brantford General Hospital. He was born at Pewit, Wooton, England, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Money. He was a resident of this district for the past 50 years. He was a former employee of the Canad aStarch Company and a partner in Johns and Money Trucking Firm. Mr. Money farmed in the Cainsville area on the Onondaga Road for 42 years, retiring in 1963 when he moved to Brantford. He was past president of the Canadian Jersey Cattle Club. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Gilson; three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy MacIsaac, Mrs. James (Evelyn) Near, and Mrs. Tom (Muriel) Millar, all of Brantford; two sisters, Mrs. William (Flo) Bell of Ripley and Mrs. Harold (Belle) Croley of Brantford; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

A very pretty Autumn wedding was solemnized at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Money, South St., on Tuesday, October 12, 1920, when thear youngest daughter, Mary Isabel was united in the bands of holy matrimony to Mr. Edward Harold Croley son of Mr. and Mrs. Morton Croley, of this city. Rev. S. E. Marshall officiating. After the ceremony a dainty luncheon was served. The bride looked charming in her travelling wuit of navy blue serge with handsome fox furs and chic black velvet hat. The happy young couple left amid showers of confetti and good wishes on the 4:15 Grand Trunk for a short trip east. On their return they will reside in Brantford.
