Emily E. MCCLALLEN (daughter of Henry MCCLALLEN and Sylvia PACKARD) was born 25 Nov 1834 in Rutland, VT, and died 24 Oct 1925 in Cleveland, OH. She married Martin Van Buren BROWN on 18 Oct 1854 in Wellington, Lorain, OH, son of Willard BROWN and Emily E. COUCH.

News Paper Obit.; Mrs. Emily E. Brown was born in Rutland, Vermont, Nov 25, 1834 and came to Ohio with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry McClellan, at the age of 13 years, living at home until Oct. 18, 1854, when she united in marriage to Martin V. B. Brown, of Wellington, whom death claimed about 18 years ago, thus living their married life together considerably over 50 years. Since that time she has lived in the vacinity of Wellington until five years ago, when she went to Cleveland and lived until her death occurred Oct. 24, 1925, at the age of 90 years, 10 months, 29 days. She was loved by all, always ready to lend a helping hand.
She leaves three brothers, George McClellan, of Wellington; Henry McClellan of Brook Park, Minn.; and Frank McClellan, of Cleveland, besides other relatives and a host of friends to mourn her loss.
