We are researching information on our great grandmother Alice Colston who lived in Richmond County, Virginia from about 1860 to about 1929.She lived at a place called Mulberry Island and had several children by William J. Bartlett, owner of the farm where she worked as domestic servant and cook.William J. Bartlett also owned a grocery store in Richmond County. Any information you have would be most appreciated.We are willing to share what we know about Alice Colston's family.
