This is a view of the old school house and Nation River in 1980. The old
bridge has been replaced by a new cement monster which comes across at the
curve in the river that you can see under the old bridge. The school house
is still there. The old cheese factory to which everyone took their milk
every morning was just on the near side of the school house. I remember
when I was a kid and made the trip to the factory with Enos in the morning
(by horse and wagon!) that I would go over and play on the swings while he
did his business; that was in the 1940's.
