never married - he and sister Johanna lived on the old homestead where Delbert Hutchinson later lived on the Horseshoe Road, across the road from his nephew Wade Moore, until late in life. They more or less "adopted" their niece Violet who was a toddler when the long-desired George was born (Irene Hutchinson Ladeceur now lives in the Hutchinson home.) They retired to the home they built in the village of Heuvelton, NY where niece Jerrine lived out her entire life.
