He married Lillian Agnes Mortimore (Source: Cemetery Records for Lillian Agnes Mortimore, Riverton Cemetery Records, Riverton IA.) 25 May 1903 in Sidney, Fremont County, IA.

Notes for George Henry Andrews:
George Henry Andrews, son of John and Abbie Andrews, was born in Woodbury County, IA April 5th, 1879 and passed away at the Hamburg hospital, July 3, 1949 at the age of 70 years, 2 months and 28 days. He was united in marriage to Lillian A. Mortimore, May 25, 1903. His wife preceded himin death March 31, 1945. He was a member of the Christian Church and had spent the last twenty years in Riverton. Survirors are and adopted son, Richard Vance Andrews, a grandson, Richard Lynn Andrews; two sisters, Mrs N. N. Notson of Riverton and Mrs. Elmer Cooper of Shenandoah, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Christian Church in Riverton, Tuesday, July 5th conducted by Rev. Morris Bailey of Shenandoah. Burial was in the Riverton cemetery.

Out-of-town relatives attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. John English and children of Hamburg and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cooper and daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Barrett of Shenandoah.

She married Simeon Coslett 07 January 1903 in Riverton, Fremont Co. IA.

Notes for Hazel Dell Andrews:
Hazel Dell Andrews Notson, Daughter of John and Abbie Andrews, was born July 22, 1891 in Smithland, IA and died at her home in Glendale, CA. On December 16, 1957 at the age of 66 years.
She came with her parents as a young girl from Smithland to Fremont County and made Riverton her home until 1955. She then moved with her husband, Neal, to Glendale.

She entered into marriage in 1908 to Richard English and to this union one son was born, John.

In 1917she was married to Norris Neal Notson to whom six children were born, four sons and two daughters: Floyd A. Notson of Pasadena CA; Everet L. Notson who is in the Air Force; Calvin L Notson and Howard L. Notson of Shenandoah, IA ; Mrs. Ben (Faye) Duncan of Omaha; and Mrs. Richard (Norma)Dark of Glendale, CA.

At an early age she united with the Christian Church of Riverton, where she was a faithful worker all through the years.

Notes for Nea Ellen Andrews:
Nea Ellen (Andrews) Cooper was born July 2, 1902 at Riverton, Iowa. She was the youngest child of John and Abbie (Grafford) Andrews. She attended school in Riverton, quitting her junior year to take care of her ailing mother. She was united in marriage with Elmer Cooper of Farragut on February 4, 1920, at the home of her parents. To this union five children were born. They farmed for a few years before moving to Shenandoah in 1926 where they lived except for the war years when Elmer worked for the defense. Nea had worked for Earl May and Henry Fields Nurseries and was an alteration lady for Ladies Apparel for over 10 years. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church and was a member of the Nishna Valley Rebekah Lodge.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sisters: Hazel Notson and Blanche Coslett; one brother George Andrews; a daughter Mildred; and her husband Elmer in 1971.     
She is survived by two sons: Raymond E. "Bud" Cooper and wife Doris of Shenandoah, Kenneth Cooper and wife Betty of Shelbyville, TX; two daughters: Dorothy, Mrs. Ross Barrett of Shenandoah, and Mary and husband Robert Lillie of Durango, CO; 11 grandchildren; 12great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Nea died Sunday evening, February 16, 1992, at the Garden View Care Center in Shenandoah. She was 89 years of age.

                        ELMER COOPER SUCCUMBED SAT

Elmer J. Cooper 72, of 1116 W. Sheridan Ave. died at noon Saturday, July 3, 1971 at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha where he had been a surgical patient since May 5th.

He was born in Hitchcock County, NE., But had lived the greater part of his life in Riverton and Shenandoah where he was a mechanic and machinist. He was an active member of the First Christian Church, Shenandoah Lodge No. 261 I. O. O. F. of which he was a past noble grand, Encampment No. 190, Rebekah Lodge both of Shenandoah and the Canton at Clarinda, IA.

Surviving is his wife Nea; two sons, T-Sgt. Raymond Cooper of Anchorage, Alaska, and T-Sgt. Kenneth Cooper of Bossier City, LA., both serving with the Air Force; and two daughters, Dorothy, (Mrs. Ross Barrett) of Shenandoah and Mary (Mrs. Robert Lillie) of Ft. Collins, CO., Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, Harold and Everett Cooper of Riverton, Virgil Cooper of Denver, CO., and John Cooper of Kansas City, MO., and two sisters, Goldie (Mrs. Forrest Hatten) of Farragut and Mrs Ruth Kellogg of Pasadena, CA.

Funeral services will be held from the First Christian Church, Shenandoah at 2 p. m. Tuesday, July 6, 1971. The Rev. Howard O. Wakelin will officate and interment will be in the Riverton, IA. cemetery.

Hackett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
