2.JEAN2 PERLIER (JEAN1) was born October 16, 1669 in LA TREMBLADE FRANCE, and died September 14, 1723 in STATTEN ISLAND NY.He married ANNE REZEAU December 25, 1696 in FRENCH CHURCH/NEW YORK, daughter of RENE REZEAU and ANNE COUSIER.

Jean, son of Jean and Marie Perlier was born October 16, 1669 in LaTremblade, Saintonge County, Maritime Province, France.Jean and his brother Andre, accompanied their mother to the New World, arriving in America in the year 1686.Jean was declared a freeman of New York in 1695.He married in the French(Hugenot) Church, New York City on December 25 1696.He married Anne Rezeau, the daughter of Renier Rezeau and Anne Coursier of Staten Island New York.She was born(date unknown) in Isle de Re. Maritime Province, France.Two daughters and a son Jean were bapitized in the Hugenot Church.Jean's occupation was that of a carpenter.It has been told that he once owned the land that the Woolworth building now stands on in New York City.Jean served in the French and Indian War in 1711 and in the South Company of the local militia in 1715.Jean died in Fresh Kill, Staten Island, New York, September 14, 1723.His will was probated October 28 1723.
"In the name of God, Amen.I, Jean Perlier, of Staten Island, being very sick.I leave to my wife all my estate, real and personal, during her widowhood.I leave to my son John all my carpenter tools.If it is necessary to pay debts, my wife shall sell the salt meado that I bought of Jerome Deslin.I leave to my sons, John, Peter, and Abraham, all my lands and Plantation.I leave all my movable estate to my six daughters, Ann, Elizabeth, Mary, Sarah, Esther, and Martha.My sons shall pay to their sisters, 100 pounds sterling.I make my wife and my beloved friend, John LeCounte executors. "
