The Len Moore Family Home Page

The Moore's for nearly a century and a half resided in Wilkes County, NC, in the Brushy Mountain and Lovelace townships; are mostly if not entirely, descendants of STERLING (STARLING) MOORE, who came to Wilkes in 1816 from Rowan (now Davie) County. On September 26, 1816 Sterling Moore of Rowan bought from James Hayes of Wilkes county a plantation of 200 acres on Cane Creek in Wilkes, in what is now Brushy Mountain township.
I will be willing to share any information I have, and need all the help I can find.
