We are researching the Moore Family's roots on the Caribbean Island of Tobago, in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. The Family's presence in Tobago apparently started in the early/mid nineteenth century with the arrival there (from Barbados) of three brothers. One brother chose to live at Charlotteville on the Northeastern tip of the island; another took up residence at Parlatuvier on the North-central coast; and the third decided to make the Village of Lambeau, on the south central coast of Tobago, his new home. The research for this tree was carried out over a number of years, mainly at Family Reunions in Tobago - initiallty held every year and then later every five years. Our next Family Reunion is scheduled for July 21 - 26, 2010 on that same beautiful Caribbean Island.
