Cecil Cordle was born on January 11, 1898 and died on June 28, 1978. He was the son of Amos Russell and Mary Elizabeth Cordle. He married Mary Pack June 12, 1914 in Greenup Co. Mary died young giving birth to her son, Jess Cordle. Upon the death of Mary in 1915, Cecil gave baby Jess to his mother, Mary Elizabeth (Potter) Cordle to raise.
