Notes for Franklin L. Glander: Frank was a farmer at the time of his marriage. By 1921, Franklin was living in Dayton, Ohio and working as a saleman. His place of employement was 125 S. Main Street. He was living at a rural location at that time. His family was a member of the Dunkard Church in Preble County. He was also a member of the Moose and Eagles.
At the time of his death, Frank was living back in Eaton, Ohio. Frank was the caretaker of the city dump at that time. On the day before he died, Frank had been found by William Hornbrook, a teacher, next to a burn pile, His clothing had been burned off of his body and his body was found four or five feet away from the main source of the fire. It is felt that Frank suffered a apparant heart attack, fell into the fire and in the attempt to seek assistance had crawled the state distance. Frank died the following day, from complications from his burns, at the Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
