Notes for Gary Lee Smith: GARY LEE SMITH, 41, of Dalton, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 19. He was preceded in death by; parents, Captain Rice and Gladys Smith. Survivors include; sisters, Linda Kennedy of Duff, Brenda Baird, Gena Rains, and Rena Bolinger Carroll, all of LaFollette; brothers, Fred Smith, and Johnny Smith, both of LaFollette, James Smith of Ohio, Junior Smith, and Carl Smith of Georgia, and Howard Smith of Duff; half-brothers, Floyd Smith, and Frank Smith of Ohio, and Russell Smith of LaFollette; several nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Monday, July 24 at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hansford Bolton officiating. Interment followed in Chadwell Cemetery.
