Hello Sir, Me again, sorry to bother you agian, but was wondering if you had any info on Lt. Jermiah Ratliff and Cpt. W. H. Mustgrove? Lt. Jermiah Ratliff was my uncle and Cpt. Mustgrove is burried 4 doors down from him at Mt. Tabor Cemt. This is all I have on Jermiah but can give you an address of his g.grandson who may have more than me. Greg King is my cousin and his email is king@mx.afrri.usuhs.mil and his address is 5916 Lemay Rd. Rockville, MD 20851. Jermiah David Ratliff b: 16 Feb 1829 in Blount County Al. m: 1 Feb 1849 d: 31 oct 1883. Company C 29th al. inf. reg. Military Record Sept 1861-Apr 1865 Jermiah Ratliff was born in Blount County, Al. Feb 16, 1829. He enlisted as a private in company C of the 29th at Blountsville, on Sept 23, 1861 for a peroid of 3 years, he was prmoted throught the ranks from private to sergeant to Lieutenant. In the spring of 1864 the 29th was transferred to the Army of Tennessee. They took part in the Atlanta-Dalton Campaign and the Battle of Franklin in Tennessee in Nov. 1864 where he lost his arm. He served as a soldier for about 4 years, after the war , Jermiah returned to Blount County and lived a productive life. He is burried at Mt. Tabor Cemt. near Blountsville Al. I don't have much on Cpt. Mustgrove as of yet but will get the info to you soon. I think they should be included with your men. Especially Cpt. Mustgrove. thanks again Sir for all you have done. the info for Cpt. Mustgrove will be sent sometime in April or may when I have the chach to go to oneonta. The weather here is not good, snow and stuff, so I will hae to wait until I get better weather for travels.

p.s. I found out that Macabus b. 1823 enlisted in co. b 29th. on sept 22, 1861 he served as 1st sergeant and then on july 31, 1862 was elected to the rank of junior 2nd lieutentant, and captured by union army dec 15, 1864 during the engagement of nashville. He was later sent to Louisville, Kentucky as a POW 4 days later he was transfered to Johnsons Island near Sandusky Oh where he remained until his release on june 16, 1865. Will copy all of this for you and mail it to you ok?
