| We are researching the Morton line and have found ELI W. Morton on the 1860 Hickory Co. Mo. census. His son is William Y.(Younger) Morton b. apprx. 1845 DeKalb Co., Mo. and moved to Texas, buried in Texas but died in Marietta OK in 1917. William Younger Morton m. Mary Mollie Johnson, b. 1846 Mo., d. McKinney, TX 1886, daughter of John H. Johnson b. 1819 N.C. and Polly Kimsey. Johnson's father was Benjamin, whose father was Jacob. Any help with the Mortons would be appreciated. |
