Posted by Nola Ann Shafer Morrissey for my family. This site is placed here to honor Shafer Garrett Morrissey, one of my very precious three grandsons (one grandaughter), born August 7, 2001, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Shafer (named for my maiden name - I am very proud!) was born with very serious heart defects and suffered several serious setbacks, he went into cardiac arrest two times, has had his chest opened several times, and had the opportunity to leave us more times than we want to remember. He spent 6 weeks in Cardiac Intensive Care during one stay and spent time on life-support, in a coma, and in surgeries. This seems to be the time to put our family tree together for others to see and trace. This is a family that gives me extreme pride and happiness and I love them all very much. All family members and visit are welcome to visit and add comments. I would appreciate any errors being brought to my attention and I will certaily check the information. I always prefer to use a date I know is fairly close to not having any date at all. Most of this information has been verified. We have a special family of wonderful grandchildren, children, sisters and brothers, and decendants. |
