My Great-Great Grandfather Jacob Morat came to the U.S. from Germany. A recent search of the internet told me that less then 100 families in the US have the last name Morat. Half of the people on the list are my relatives - the other half are strangers. With so few Morats in the country there has to be a family link. To date - my Morat relatives are located in Western Michigan and Southern California. I am curious to learn about the other Morat family. They are located near Rome NY and throughout the south.I am just starting to trace our family tree - any input would be welcome! |
