| I am researching several families who settled or whose origins are in Virginia, including, but not limited to: ALLMOND, BAGBY, BARNER, BISHOP, BRIGGS, BROADFIELD, CLEATON, COLLIER, GRAY, GRIGG, HARRIS, HARRISON, HICKS/HIXS, HUGHES, JORDAN, JOINER/JOYNER, JONES, LUNSFORD, MCCOY, MORRISON, PRIDE, QUARRIER, RUSH, STITH, STROUD, TAYLOR, TUCKER, UZZELL, WILLIAMSON, WILLS, and WOLFF. Most settled (or could be found) in the counties of Albemarle, Amelia, Amherst, Appomattox, Augusta, Brunswick, Buckingham, Campbell, Charles City, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Elizabeth City, Fluvanna, Hanover, Henrico, Isle of Wight, James City, Lancaster, Mecklenburg, Nansemond, New Kent, Northumberland, Nottoway, Pittsylvania, Powhatan, Prince George, Southampton, Sussex, Surry, Rockingham, as well as other counties or Cities in Virginia, before moving south and west. I am willing to share what information I have collected. |
