We are primarily researching my husband's family tree. His immigrant ancestor was James Morgan who arrived in Roxbury, MA in 1636 with his brothers John and Miles. He was born in 1607 in Wales. He married Margery Hill and settled near Groton, CT. One of his descendants was David Morgan who was born in Royalton, VT in 1785 and was married to Matilda Green. We think he died near Cincinnati, Ohio in the mid 1800's. His wife may have outlived him by many years.We would also like more information on my family's side: My great grandfather was John B. Stone, born March 1838 in Penns. and married to Martha Jane Wilson, born Dec. 1850 in Ohio. One of his sons was Chance Hardin Stone, born Jan. 21, 1879 and died in March 1972 near Easton, IL. Another great grandfather was William Walter Dick, born Dec. 16, 1864 in Chandlerville, IL. He was married to Minnie Dietsch, born June 29, 1864. We would enjoy hearing from others connected to our family trees. |
