| The Morrison's came to Canada around 1840 from Scotland and settled around Dundas, Ontario. Laughlin Morrison was born in 1815 in Scotland and died June 14,1875 in Dundas. I am researching the Morrison family from Dundas, Ontario,Canada. Charles Augustine Morrison was born in Dundas on January 20, 1866. Charles was likely less than eight years old when his family moved from Dundas to Elora. He married Christina Goetz in 1887, daughter of Jacob Goetz. She was born June 17, 1871 in Marden, Ontario, Canada and died November 09, 1965 in Port Colborne, Ontario, Canada. I have about 150 names in the Family Tree that I will post possibly to help others. Additionally, I am researching the Kooken family. Jesse Pearl Kooken was born on July 18, 1897 in Salina, Ohio. He had a twin brother named William Earl Kooken. Jesse (aka John Paul) married Edith Pearl Perry on February 29, 1908 in Charlston, West Virginia. Edith was born December 11, 1893 in Huntington, West Virginia. Any information would be appreciated.
