Another official regimental photo. This may have been taken in Newfoundland prior to shipping out but more than likely such photos were made once the troops had assembled for training in Edinburgh, where they were billetted at Edinburgh Castle. The structure of the building in front of which they are assembled is reminiscent of a stone castle more than a wooden barracks, as would have been the case in Newfoundland. Howard is the man under the "x".
