Welcome to Dawne & Greg's Family Tree Home Page!

Greg is new to the family research obsession, but Dawne has been working on her family tree since she was 12 years old. Marrying Greg, though, has presented her with some new research challenges. First, she has never attempted research on an African-American family line. Second, Greg is adopted, so we get to research two sets of parents. Third, Greg's adoption was an international adoption. His birth father was an American soldier of African descent and his birth mother was a German national. He was placed for adoption in Germany and was adopted by an American family.

We would appreciate advice from anyone who has researched African-American family histories, who has searched for birth parents, and/or who has experience with international adoptions.
