| I am Searching the descendants of William and Polly Hooker Rich. One of their children is Jessee Rich. Jessee and Elizabeth Savage Rich lived in Overton County, now Clay County, Tennessee. Jessee and Elizabeth Savage Rich had 14 children. The supporting family surnames are as follows: Abney, Asbridger, Bowman, Brown, Grace, Johnson, Hill, Holeman, Hooker, Martin, Reynolds, Savage, Skipworth, Upton, Waddle, Webb. Jessee's brother, John,(1795-1871) took his family and settled in the Moss, TN area. He was married to Virginia Jane Peak and Rachel Pipkins. We have discovered that the Jeremiah Rich living in Cumberland Co, KY in the early 1800's is also a brother of Jessee Rich. RICH REUNION -- DESCENDANTS OF WILLIAM & POLLY (HOOKER) RICH Our next Rich family reunion will be on OCTOBER 7 & 8 2005. On October 7 we will meet at 8:00 am at the Clay County Court House in Celina, Tn. to start our CEMETERY TOUR. We will spend that day visiting cemeteries in KY., Clay and Overton County, TN and maybe visit McFarland Creek once again. The RICH REUNION will be on October 8th in the Clay County Community Center in Celina, TN. at 10am. Covered dish lunch at 12:00 Noon. Please bring old and new photos, newspaper clippings, family Bibles, documents, any interesting items that have been handed down. We invite all musicians and singers to bring their instruments and song books and don't forget the RICH Stories that have been handed down. Please invite your cousins and friends.
