Find Family

I am just beginning to "dig into" my RECTOR ROOTS.Our roots are lost, beyond my grandfather. I desperately want to "dig deeper" to find out about my backround. In the beginning of my search,I
have already discovered that there is a Rector, Arkansas. Could this be a connection to family? Possibly. Or maybe some of my ancestors are burried at the Rector cemetary which I have heard about. I have also discovered that another way our surname was spelled was: Rechter.Amazing. And I've just begun. Maybe there are connections within a few of the discoveries. Who knows? But, I am going to do my best to find out.
My grandfather was probably born in, or around Nashville, Tennessee. Could that be where he got his interest in playing the harmonica? And, my Dad plays guitar. And, it's country music too.
Grandpa left a story behind with us. He was raised by an Aunt Sally. He left Tennessee in a box car as a runaway (supposedly), and headed for Ohio. He planted himself in Tuscarawas county. There he married an Ollie, or Olive Burk, or Burks. They had a son (Richard Rector). Nickname: Whitey. Ollie 9or Olive) died giving birth to Richard. Then Willie soon married again . This time to a Julie Irene Smart. Willie and Julie had 4 sons, and 7 daughters together. Willie and Julie raised Richard together. Richard married a lady named Evelyn. They live somewhere in Waycross, Georgia now. Most of Willie and Julies' other children live in Tuscarawas county Ohio yet.
Willie and Julie have both passed on.My Uncle "Whitey" is hard to find. I desperately want to find more on my ancestry. Any possible help, or connections would sincerely appreciated.
Maybe we can help each other.
