This page about the More' Polania family is dedicated to my dear parents, Julio More Cohen and Celia Polania Puyo, who were the roots of the family and are no longer with us. I am researching our origins that are part Jews, part Spanish and a lot Colombian. The first Mores also spelled Moreh, were originaly from Israel, and moved to the Villa de Tossa in Catalunia, Spain, and other parts of Europe. From my father's mother side, Cohen, were Jews that went to England and later to Colombia, beleived descendants of Aaron. All this people made their homes in the North part of the country, in Colombia. From my mothers side, Polania and Puyo or Puyol, they also were from Spain, I do not know exactly what parte, and this is what I am resaearching, even I have heard that they were from Poland originaly. The lived in southern part of the country. Lets say that now, we are appart and have grown in differnet directions but have the same beginnings, and are very proud of our roots. |
