Seeking information on Jacob Morton and his mother and father. According to 1850 census records Jacob was born in Ohio; however the census records for 1860,1870, 1880 give his birthplace as Maine and they would indicate he was born about 1791-1801. His mother was born in Maine and his father in Mass. |
