Rufus Ira Rose was born in Quebeck, Tennessee on June 9, 1880, his father was Charles Christopher Rose born in Tennessee in February 1851. I am looking for Christopher's father born abt. 1820 in North Carolina, Robert Kenneth Rose Jr said his name could be Richard Rose.

The 1860 census shows George Berry born 1773 in North Carolina living with Henry Berry (b. 1806 in NC.) in Rusk County, Texas. I believe George is Henry's father. I do not know the relationship between John Berry (b. 1814 in NC.), S. N. Berry (b.1814 in NC.) and E. L. Berry (b. 1818 in NC.) or their relationship with George Berry.
