I am researching the Morter/Mortar family from Norfolk, England. Earliest ancestor was Thomas Morter, born about 1582, wife unknown. He had a son, Thomas Morter, born 07 Sept,1600 in North Walsham, Norfolk, England, wife Frannes. Specifically I am trying to find out about any ancestors of this family
Also am researching the Black family who settled in Wayne Township, Montgomery County, Ohio in the early 19th century. James Black was born in Pennsylvania, between 1774-1777 Married Catharine Unknown, before 1801. James died on 5 Mar, 1858 and Catharine was born about 1772 in Pennsylvania and dies 11 Dec, 1867 in Ohio. I am looking for information on their ancestors.
Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
