We are researching the families of:
* ROBERT CRAIG, carpenter, died Belfast. Northern Ireland, December 1, 1881, buried Balmoral cemetery, Belfast.
*His wife, MARGARET MARK, died Belfast February 3, 1871, buried Balmoral cemetery.
* MARTHA CRAIG, their daughter, born Belfast about 1847, died Oamaru, New Zealand, 1897.
* THOMAS ECCLES, Martha's husband, born Tullymore, County Antrim, about 1845. Remarried in New Zealand in 1900.
*His father, SAMUEL ECCLES, baker, and mother ELIZABETH PATTERSON, who produced a number of children in Broughshane, County Antrim.
* FINLAY SKINNER, who was probably born about 1808 at Balintore on the coast of Ross and Cromarty, Scotland. His daughter, Jane Ann Skinner, was born there. Jane died in Goulburn, Australia, in 1883.
* Finlay married MARTHA WATSON at Campbelltown, Ardersier, in 1833.
* GEORGE TOPP, father of Jane Skinner's illegitimate son George. Topp was a colour serjeant in the 78th Highlanders (Foot), born in North Leith, Scotland, and died in Abdie, Fife. His son George Skinner was born at Old Machar, Aberdeen, 1864, died Palmerston North, New Zealand, 1955.
* WILLIAM MORGAN, a soldier (private), father of Charles Edwin, born Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, December 1869.
* THOMAS MORGAN, William's father, married Rebeccah at St Nicholas, Hereford, 1790.
* William's wife SARAH ANN HOWARD, born Kent, England, 1811.
