The Family of James N. Morey of Wyoming, NY

As a relative newcomer to geneaology and a brand new user of Family Tree Maker, I feel like a ship about to be launched.

My initial investigations will follow four families:

* Moreys (father's father's family) -- from Tennessee and New England and we shall see where else

* Kirkpatricks (father's mother's family) -- maybe from Pennsylvania, maybe from Illinois -- more questions than answers

* Newmans (mother's father's family) -- from New York and ???

* Pipers (mother's mother's family) -- from New York, New England, and probably old England -- good groundwork done here

After tracking down these families, the next step will be pursuing the families of both my first and second wife.

Once I learn enough and record enough to be useful, I'll be happy to share. And so the journey begins. I look forward to meeting many of you along the way.
