Updated September 6, 2000

I have over 5000 names on:Morlas.....Brown.....Glew.....Sills.....Lloyd.....Carnahan.....HuffnailI am looking for the family of William Glew (Glue), born Snaith, Yorkshire, England 21 May, 1826. Moved to Toronto, Canada around 1846. Moved to Muskegon, Michigan to join in the lumber industry where he invented a sawdust burner. He died in 1887. His wife's name was Mary. Believed to have two sons who also worked in the lumber industry. John Brown joined his uncle William Glew and was Chief of Police in Muskegon in the 1870s. His daughter was Mrs. Nicholas Christopherson and had atwo sons William and Edward. John Brown died in 1914.Also my son-in-law's genealogy:Van Doorne.....PreecePreece line has been followed to Captain Miles Standish - looking for more information of Miles Standish from the Isle of Mann. Two generations seem to be missing and background picks up again.Starting Van Doorne research. Hendrich (Henry) immigrated from Holland pre-WW1, born ~1889 in Holland. Lived in Van Nuys, Ca. from 1920's to death in 1960's.
