William Dinsmore and Mildred Parkes Morgan Family

I am helping my parents obtain information on our ancestors. My father is descended from Jacob Morgan and The Laird Dinsmore. My mother descends from Henry Parkes and Nicholas Hickman. All of these families have roots in the South-Western Pennsylvania area (near Pittsburgh) for several generations.
The Morgan and Dinsmore families have historically been farmers. Jacob Morgan: b abt. mid-1700s birthplace unknown. He appears in a census of Cecil County, Maryland in the mid- to late-1700s and then he settled i south-western PA. We are unable to locate other information on his origins. The Laird Dinsmore: b 1603 in Scotland. Henry Parkes: b 1811 in Tipton, England. Nicholas Hickman: b 1728 in Germany.
