The Robert Morgan Family Home Page
I am a descendant of Enoch Morgan (born 1719 in Wales) who came to the colonies with his wife Margaret Howel Morgan (born 1720, also in Wales), sometime before their first child Abel was born in 1746.I have a good bit of information on the family that was compiled by my grandfather's maiden Aunt Ellen Emmor (Nell) Morgan of Henryville, Indiana back in the early 1900's.My grandfather Robert E. Morgan inherited Nell's research materials when she died in the 1940's. Nell documented the fact that her great-grandfather Nathaniel Morgan was a soldier in the Revolution, that her grandmother, Elizabeth Freeman of Plymouth, Mass., was a descendant of Mayflower Pilgrims, and that her uncle William Wallace Morgan was a Union officer killed in the Civil War. I am continuing to research the Morgans, as well as their relatives the Hampseys, the Mitchells, the Kinsellas and the McNamaras. If you would like to know more about Nell's research or can share any interesting connections with me please send me an e-mail and we'll compare notes.
