Notes for Harvey D. Morgan: Awaiting National Archives Records for proof regarding the parents of Harvey Morgan. James Morgan and Mary C. Terrell did have a child named Harvey D. Morgan. Whether the Harvey Morgan that married Sarah Elizabeth Wilson is the same has not been proved.
Harvey is in Randolph Co., AR at least by 1888 as he marries in January 1889. He is listed on the 1890 reconstructed census for Randolph County, taken from the tax rolls. He is listed as having 2 cattle worth $25. He is listed also on the 1892, 1895, and 1897 tax lists. No values are listed on the later three tax records. There was a change in the school district number that his taxes supported from 83 to 53. That is the last record of Harvey Wilson that has been found. It is believed that he died before 1900 as his children are listed with other families on the 1900 census records.
