This picture was probably taken shortly before William Henry's death in 1891. They were originally from Granville County, NC. where William Henry fought for the cause of the Confederacy during the Civil War. He moved his family first to Kentucky and then on to Fannin County, Texas and finally to Armstrong Co., Texas in 1887.
