Cassandra's home was known as Kissie Patch. She lived to be 110 years of age, but died from "excessive use of tobacco and Coffee", according to the Pleasant Graove Church Records in Corke Co. TN.

4. JONATHAN³ WOODY (WILLIAM², JOSEPH¹) was born June 15, 1756 in Surry County, North Carolina, and died Aft. April 15, 1850 in Iowa. He married MARY MOLLY LOVINGOOD(LOVEL) 1776 in North Carolina. She was born 1756 in South Carolina, and died 1845 in Woody Gap, GA.

Notes for JONATHAN WOODY:
Jonathan's migration - Greenville, SC, Buncombe, Haywood, Swain and Macon County area in North Carolina. Franklin County, Georgia, John Wesley Woody's migrations - Josiah born here. Dahlonega then south where family spent later part of the War Between the States. Crawfordsville, is where the family lived from 1865 until 1868. Some then moved on to Platte County, Missouri and Lincoln County, Kansas.

In early July 1782, Jonathan Woody enlisted in the Revolutionary War under Colonel Cox, Surry County, NC. In his Revolutionary War pension file #S17211
he states that he saw no combat and served as a volunteer, not a substitute. He listed two older brothers, William and James, who also served during the Revolution.

Althouthy Jonathan Woody served in the Revolutionary War, he couldn't read or write. He was unaware of his veteran's pensions benefits, until a relative called it to his attention when he was 91 years old.

Mary Molly Lovel (Lovingood) is buried in Cawker Cemetery at Suches, Union County GA. This information was recorded by orison Ingram on 15 October `973, after he visited the cemetery. Other descendant families of Mary Lovel and Jonathan are buried there.
