Chiefton Manfred de Percy (b. 972, d. date unknown)
Manfred de Percy was born 972 in Denmark, and died date unknown.
Notes for Manfred de Percy: Little is known about Manfred except that he lived in Denmark and grew to maturity and became a Danish chiefton. He and his son Galfred joined forces with a son of a Norwegian Viking, Ralph the Ganger, who was trying to lead his followers to a warmer climate. They eventually made their way up the Loire Valley and settled in the Province of Maen in Normandy. Here Manfred adopted the name Percy, probably from the nearby Percy Forest.
